April 17th opening night
2nd place in heat race
4th place in A feature
first time in my racing career that i started the season with a top 4,I hope it is a sign of better things to come maybe a run at the track championship.
A feature recap
the track was tacky but rough we started sixth got caught behind some traffic fell back to seventh and had to work my way to fourth by the first caution with 6 laps left I was moved back to fifth due to the lap I passed for fourth on was not totally completed,made it back to fourth but I could not get enough bite on the straightaways to get to third.
work on that for next week.
April 24th
2nd place in heat race
3rd in A feature
after the heat race sally and I moved some weight around in the rear of the car,to force more traction on the straightaways.
we were still loose in the straightaways.
Track was dry but pretty smooth we started 4th fell back to 6th, we need to work on our starts i seem to be lagging back. So moving on started to work our way forward while running 3 wide for third the car in second spun we took evasive action drove to the infield and missed the wreck that was close 3 cars damaged badly.
At the next restart we started 4th worked our way to second after 2 laps caught up to the leader but just could not get a run we moved to different lines at this time 6 laps more the third place car got a run on me and made it by that what moving to different lines get you sometimes at this point we played follow the leader could not get enough of a run to make a challenge.
Well the weight movement helped not loose in the straightaways anymore.
